Janko Kroner
Janko Kroner (born 1 June 1956) is a Slovak film, television and stage actor. Once a regular cast of the Slovak National Theatre, Slovak National Theater (SND) (1987–2009), Kroner began his acting career as part of the New Scene (1982–86). In the mid 1990s, alongside staging for his home theater, he gradually began appearing in a local VA-based ensemble called a.ha. Theater, a.ha. In the most recent decade, he has been known as the frontman of the Malá scéna Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, STU, a body supervised by Kroner through 2010-2011. As a member of the Slovak acting "dynasty" that span three generations to date, Kroner himself has received numerous nominations in his native country, including two LitFond Awards for Performing Arts in Drama, as well two television-focused ''OTO Awards'' as OTO Award for TV Male Actor, TV Male Actor, respectively. Považská Bystrica
Považská Bystrica (; german: Waagbistritz; hu, Vágbeszterce) is a town in northwestern Slovakia. It is located on the Váh river, around 30 km from the city of Žilina. It belongs to Upper Váh region of tourism. Profile Považská Bystrica is situated in a fold of mountain ranges Strážovské vrchy (1213 m) and Javorníky (1071 m a.s.l.). Božena Němcová () (4 February 1820 in Vienna – 21 January 1862 in Prague) was a Czech writer of the final phase of the ''Czech National Revival'' movement. Her image is featured on the 500 CZK denomination of the Česká koruna. Biography According to the dating up to now accepted by the majority of Czech authors, Božena Němcová was born in 1820 as ''Barbara Pankel'' (or ''Barbora Panklová'' according to the usual Czech name-giving for women) in Vienna as a daughter of Johann Pankel from Lower Austria and Teresie Novotná, a maid of Bohemian origin. In her childhood she lived near the small town of Ratibořice, where her grandmother Magdalena Novotná played an important part in her life. The Salt Prince
''The Salt Prince'' ( Slovak: ''Soľ nad zlato'', Czech: ''Sůl nad zlato'', German: ''Der Salzprinz'', Italian: ''Il Solto Prinzzo'') is a Slovak fairy-tale movie based on a novel by Pavol Dobšinský.
