Janar Toomet
Janar Toomet (born 10 August 1989) is a retired Estonian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Flora Toomet began playing football at Flora youth academy. He made his senior league debut in the Esiliiga for the club's reserve side, Flora II, on 11 March 2006, in a 0–2 home loss to Nõmme Kalju. Unable to break into the Flora's first team, Toomet spent time on loan at Warrior and Tulevik. He made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 4 April 2009, in a 1–1 draw against Narva Trans. Levadia In 2011, Toomet signed for Levadia. He won the 2011–12 Estonian Cup. Nõmme Kalju On 24 February 2013, Toomet signed a three-year contract with Nõmme Kalju. Estonia National Football Team
The Estonia national football team ( et, Eesti jalgpallikoondis) represents Estonia in international football matches and is controlled by the Estonian Football Association, the governing body for football in Estonia. Estonia's home ground is Lilleküla Stadium in Tallinn. Estonia's first match was held against Finland in 1920, being a 6–0 defeat. The team participated in the 1924 Olympic Games tournament, their only participation. JK Narva Trans, commonly known as Narva Trans or just Trans, are a professional Estonian association football club based in Narva that compete in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football. Esiliiga
The Esiliiga is the second division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga is ranked below the Meistriliiga and above the Esiliiga B. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. The league features several reserve teams of Meistriliiga clubs. According to the rules set by the Estonian Football Association, reserve teams are ineligible for promotion to the Meistriliiga, but can play in the Estonian Cup. Competition format During the season, the teams play each of the other four times, twice at home and twice away. This makes for a total of 36 games played each season. The teams gain three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat. Promotion and relegation between divisions is a central feature of the league.
