''Jana Gana Mana'' is a 2012 Indian Marathi film directed by Amit Abhyankar. and written by Sameer Joshi. Plot In a tribal village of Maharashtra is a school which is a part of ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan’ (Education for All) run by the government. Ramchandra Sontakke (Nandu Madhav) is the sole teacher in the school. Sontakke is a romantic; he wants to build a nation of educated kids but is in for a shock when he realizes that the handful of kids who attend his school come basically for the free mid day meal rather than to study. Sontakke decides to impress his boss by putting up a grand show on the Independence Day and coax him into transferring Sontakke to a town school closer home. Nandu Madhav
Nandu Madhav is an Indian actor known for his works in Marathi cinema and theatre. He is known for the his titular role in Paresh Mokashi's ''Harishchandrachi Factory'' which won the Best Feature Film in Marathi award in the 56th National Film Awards in 2008. Santosh Juvekar is an Indian film, television and stage actor. Known for his work in Marathi films. He has also acted in Hindi films. Career Juvekar started with his acting career in 2004 with the Marathi play ''Aani Makarand Rajadhyaksha'' playing the role Naren Deshmukh. The Pune International Film Festival (also known as PIFF) is an annual film festival held in Pune, a city in Maharashtra, India.
