Jan Källqvist
Jan Rune Källqvist (born 31 March 1958) is a Swedish former tennis player who was active in the 1970s. Career Källqvist played in his first Grand Prix event as a sixteen-year-old at the 1974 Stockholm Open. He lost in the first round to the Colombian, twelve years his senior, Iván Molina. In partnership with Ulf Eriksson he also competed in the doubles draw and lost in the first round. Källqvist participated in the singles draw at thirteen Grand Prix tournaments and lost in the first round on each occasion. In doubles, during July 1979, he and partner Leo Palin reached the semifinals at the Porto Alegre Challenger in Brazil and in November 1979, with partner Per Hjertquist he reached the quarterfinals at the Stockholm Open, before losing to the eventual finalists Wojtek Fibak and Tom Okker. Stocksund () is an upper class suburb in Metropolitan Stockholm, Sweden. Per Hjertquist (born 6 April 1960) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. During his career he won one singles title and one doubles title. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 68 in 1980 and a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 106 in 1985. As a junior, he was ranked 2nd after Ivan Lendl, and in 1978, became the US Open boys' singles champion. Association Of Tennis Professionals
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits – the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. It was formed in September 1972 by Donald Dell, Jack Kramer, and Cliff Drysdale to protect the interests of professional tennis players, and Drysdale became the first President. Since 1990, the association has organized the ATP Tour, the worldwide tennis tour for men and linked the title of the tour with the organization's name. It is the governing body of men's professional tennis. In 1990 the organization was called the ATP Tour, which was renamed in 2001 as just ATP and the tour being called ATP Tour. In 2009 the name of the tour was changed again and was known as the ATP World Tour, but changed again to the ATP Tour by 2019. Wojciech Fibak (; popularly Wojtek Fibak ; born 30 August 1952) is a former professional tennis player and Polish entrepreneur and art collector. Fibak is best known for his doubles success with Dutch pro Tom Okker and Australian Kim Warwick, although he also reached the Top 10 in singles. Biography and personal life Born in Poznań, Poland, he won his first tournament in 1976, and between then and 1982 won 15 singles titles and 52 doubles titles. His best year was arguably 1980, when he reached the quarter-finals at the French Open, the US Open and Wimbledon. Ulf Eriksson is a former Swedish tennis player who was active in the 1970s. Career Juniors Eriksson participated in the 1975 Wimbledon boys' singles event, losing in the quarterfinals to the New Zealander, Chris Lewis. At the end of 1975, Eriksson was ranked no. 8 by the magazine, Tennis in its annual year–end rankings.
