Jamie Harris (footballer)
James Christopher Harris (born 28 June 1979) is a Welsh professional footballer. Harris began his football career at local football side Mumbles Rangers before joining Swansea City in 1996. He impressed in a trial game against Swindon Town and manager Jan Molby offered him a two-year contract; he later went out on loan to Merthyr Tydfil to gain some first-team experience. When his contract at Swansea expired, he had short spells at Rhayader Town and Haverfordwest County. He moved to Bohemians (Bohs) in 1999 and scored on his debut away to Waterford United in a 2–0 victory. He spent one season at Bohs, making 24 league appearances and scoring four league goals before moving to St Patrick's Athletic. He signed for Scottish club Dunfermline Athletic on 28 January 2007 on a free transfer, having previously been at League of Ireland side Shelbourne with whom he won three league titles. Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. It forms a principal area, officially known as the City and County of Cardiff ( cy, Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, links=no), and the city is the eleventh-largest in the United Kingdom. Rory Keane
Thomas Roderick "Rory" Keane (born Limerick, Republic of Ireland, 31 August 1922; died Swansea, Wales, 13 February 2004) was an Irish footballer who spent most of his career at Swansea Town. A hard-tackling defender, he is still regarded as one of Swansea's greatest ever players. Keane was also a dual internationalist and played for both Ireland teams – the IFA XI and the FAI XI. Two broken legs limited his international career to just five caps and he eventually retired after breaking his leg for a third time. Keane then settled in south Wales where he lived until his death in 2004. His grandson, Jamie Harris is also a notable footballer.
