Jamie Bain (born 8 December 1989) is a former professional Scottish darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World ... events. He first won a PDC Tour Card in 2014, and after it expired in 2016, he had to wait until 2017 to win it back. Once again, Bain lost his Tour Card at the end of its two-year spell in November 2018, but managed to finish on the top eleven of the UK Q-School Order of Merit in January 2019 to seal at least another two years on the ProTour. After another year of struggles in 2019 on the tour, Bain resigned his Tour Card for the 2020 season due to other commitments, saying he would prefer someone else to get his place and use it fully. The 2015 Coral UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the thirteenth year of the tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competing in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the second time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 6–8 March 2015, and had the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw was staged after each round until the final. Adrian Lewis was the defending champion, having won the fourth major title of his career after beating Terry Jenkins 11–1 in the 2014 final. It was the seventeenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was being held for the sixth time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 1–3 March 2019, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round following the conclusion of the third round until the final. Gary Anderson was the defending champion after defeating Corey Cadby 11–7 in the 2018 final.
