Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda
Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda, also known as Darul Uloom Blackburn, is an 11–25 independent, Islamic, boarding and day school for boys in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. It was established in 1997 and its name means The College of Knowledge and Guidance. The majority of pupils that attend the school are local, but some come from around the UK, and a small minority are international students. The school therefore offers boarding facilities for about a third of its pupils. Purpose The purpose of this institute is to allow individuals within the Islamic community to learn more about their religion, Islam. It also allows to propagate the religion to others. Within some Islamic sects, it is also regarded as a compulsory act which can be fulfilled for the entire community if an individual within the community is sent to gain this knowledge. History Darul Uloom Al-Madania was founded by Dr. Ismail Memon and his son Shaykh Ibrahim Memon Madani. The search for a suitable building that would serve as an institution began in 1986, when Ismail Memon and Shaikh Ibrahim were living in Waterloo, Canada. Mazahir Uloom ( ur, ) is an Islamic seminary located in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Started in November 1866 by Sa'ādat Ali Faqīh, and developed further by Mazhar Nanautawi and Ahmad Ali Saharanpuri; it is regarded as the second most influential and major Deobandi seminary in India. Madinatul Uloom Al Islamiya
Madinatul Uloom Al Islamiya (MTU) is an Islamic boarding college in the county of Worcestershire near Kidderminster, England. It was one of the first Islamic seminaries for boys after Darul Uloom Bury, both of which were founded by the late scholar Yusuf Motala. The site was originally founded as a girls boarding college in 1987 (currently Jaamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria based in Bradford) and then refounded as a boys college in 1992. Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyyah ( ar, دار العلوم العربية الإسلامية), better known as Darul Uloom Bury, was established in 1979 and is the oldest Islamic seminary in the United Kingdom.
