James Pearson (actor)
James Anthony Pearson (born 1 October 1989 in Rochdale, Greater Manchester) is a British actor who lives in Glasgow. Pearson is best known for his performance as Bernard Sumner in Anton Corbijn's film ''Control''. He played the role of Angus Stewart in 5th series of BBC's Monarch of the Glen. He also stars in the 2009 British film ''New Town Killers'', an action thriller for which Pearson performed most of his own stunts. Pearson first appeared on TV in the BAFTA Award-winning BBC TV series ''Jeopardy'' playing the central role of Simon. It ran for three series, with a total of 40 episodes. He also starred as Ed MacKenzie in the BBC Three drama ''Lip Service''. Rochdale ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, at the foothills of the South Pennines in the dale on the River Roch, northwest of Oldham and northeast of Manchester. ''God Help the Girl'' is a 2009 album by Stuart Murdoch of the band Belle and Sebastian with female vocalists such as Catherine Ireton. God Help the Girl is also the name of the band and the accompanying film released in 2014. The songs are about a Scottish girl who is hospitalized after a nervous breakdown. Stuart Murdoch (musician)
Stuart Lee Murdoch (born 25 August 1968) is a Scottish musician, writer and filmmaker, and the lead singer and songwriter for the indie pop band Belle and Sebastian. He also suffers from ME. Early life Murdoch's parents made him take piano lessons during his childhood, and he claims not to have enjoyed them at the time but now "appreciates this decision vastly". Apart from early musical activities at secondary school (at age 12 he formed a band with fellow pupils, in which he played piano), Murdoch first became publicly involved in music as a radio DJ for Subcity Radio at the University of Glasgow. While at university at the end of the 1980s, he became ill with myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome, and was unable to work for seven years.
