James Martin (chef)
James Martin (born 30 June 1972) is a British chef and television presenter, best known for his television work with the BBC and ITV. Martin presented the BBC cookery series ''Saturday Kitchen'' from 2006 until 2016, before leaving the BBC. More recently, Martin has presented ''James Martin's French Adventure'' (2017), ''Saturday Morning with James Martin'' (2017–present) and ''James Martin's American Adventure'' (2018) for ITV. Early life Martin's family were farmers on the Castle Howard estate where he helped his mother in the kitchen, igniting his interest in cuisine. He lived in Welburn, UK, where he attended Amotherby School in Malton and later on, Malton School. Malton, North Yorkshire
Malton is a market town, civil parish and electoral ward in North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, the town is the location of the offices of Ryedale District Council and has a population of around 13,000 people, measured for both the civil parish and the electoral ward at the 2011 Census as 4,888. The town is located to the north of the River Derwent which forms the historic boundary between the North and East Ridings of Yorkshire. Facing Malton on the other side of the Derwent is Norton. Alistair Appleton
Alistair Appleton (born 12 February 1970) is a British broadcaster, psychotherapist and meditation teacher. Biography Born in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, to Peter and Sally (née Cooper) Appleton, the younger of two sons, Alistair was brought up in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, where as a boy he sang in the church choir at St Faith's. He earned ten O-levels and three A-levels at St John's College, Portsmouth. In 1988 he went to Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied English Literature. On graduating with an upper second class degree, Appleton left the UK for Poland, where he took to writing poetry and helped to edit a children's anthology, as well as teaching at the University of Gdansk. BBC Two

The Great British Menu
''Great British Menu'' is a BBC television series in which top British chefs compete for the chance to cook one course of a four-course banquet. Format Series one and two were presented by Jennie Bond, the former BBC Royal correspondent, whereby each week, two chefs from a region of the UK create a menu. In series three and four, both narrated by Bond but with no presenter, three chefs from a region of the UK create a menu; only the two with the best scores went through to the Friday judging. In series five and six, the fifth narrated by Bond while the sixth is narrated by Wendy Lloyd, three chefs from a region of the UK create a menu, with in kitchen judging undertaken by a past contestant chef; only the two with the best scores go through to the Friday judging. Richard Corrigan
Richard Corrigan (born 10 February 1964) is an Irish chef. He is chef/patron of Corrigan's Bar & Restaurant Mayfair, Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill, Daffodil Mulligan Restaurant & Gibney's Bar London and Virginia Park Lodge in Virginia, County Cavan. Early life Richard Corrigan was born and raised in Ballivor, County Meath. He studied at Dublin Institute of Technology. Angela Maria Hartnett (born September 1968) is an English Michelin-starred chef. Raymond Blanc
Raymond Blanc OBE (born 19 November 1949) is a French chef. Blanc is the chef patron at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, a hotel-restaurant in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, England. The restaurant has two Michelin stars and scored 9/10 in the ''Good Food Guide''. Scarborough Hospital, formerly Scarborough General Hospital is an NHS district general hospital in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. It is run by the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Food in UK hospitals has been the subject of attention from celebrity chefs. James Martin was tasked with revamping the menu and catering facilities at Scarborough General Hospital in September 2011, for ''Operation Hospital Food'' for the BBC.
