James Kingston
James Hubert Kingston (born 30 November 1965) is a South African professional golfer. Career Kingston was born in Ottosdal, South Africa. He turned professional in 1988, and is currently a member of the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour. He has also competed on the Asian Tour, where he collected four tournament victories. In 2007, Kingston finished top of the Order of Merit on the Sunshine Tour, aided by his victory at the European Tour co-sanctioned South African Airways Open. That win was his first on the European Tour, and helped him to his best Order of Merit finish of 17th in 2008. Victory at the Sunshine Tour's Vodacom Championship in February 2008, lifted Kingston into the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time. Kingston secured his first win of 2009 with a playoff triumph against Anders Hansen at the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Championship in Cologne. Ottosdal, North West
Ottosdal is a small town situated at an altitude of 1,479 meters (4,855 feet) on the branch railway line from Makwassie in the central North West Province of South Africa. Ottosdal is a farming community engaged in the growing of grains such as maize (mielies), sunflower and peanuts. In addition, local farmers raise cattle, sheep, pigs, dairy cows and chicken. A major pyrophyllite mine lies near it on the farm Gestoptefontein. This town originated from the establishment of a Dutch Reformed Church parish in 1913. To this was added a church building on Korannafontein, the farm of Gerhardus Petrus Otto. The town is known as the birthplace of "Die Baas", who was born there in 1952. Oliver Wilson
Oliver John Wilson (born 14 September 1980) is an English professional golfer. Wilson was a member of the 2008 Ryder Cup, but had to wait another six years for his first European Tour win, the 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Amateur career Wilson was born in Mansfield, England, where his golfing career began at Coxmoor Golf Club, having been a junior at Oakmere Park Golf Club. Kyi Hla Han
Kyi Hla Han ( my, ကြည်လှဟန်, ; 13 February 1961 – 19 February 2022) was a professional golfer from Myanmar who served as executive chairman of the Asian Tour. Professional career Han turned professional in 1980. He recorded his first professional wins in 1983 at the Malaysian Dunlop Masters and the Malaysian PGA Championship. He played on the Asian Tour from its debut season in 1995 until 2004. In 1999 he was the top money winner on the tour and that year he collected his only win in an official money Asian Tour tournament at the Volvo China Open. In 2006, Han was appointed Chairman of the Asian Tour, upon the tour having been reconstituted in 2004 after having been taken over by the players themselves. The GS Caltex Maekyung Open, as it is known for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. It was established in 1982, replacing the Korea Open as the South Korean event on the Asia Golf Circuit. Jeev Milkha Singh (born 15 December 1971) is an Indian professional golfer who became the first player from India to join the European Tour in 1998. Darren Fichardt
Darren Clive Fichardt (born 13 May 1975) is a South African professional golfer who plays on both the European and Sunshine Tours. Early life Fichardt was born in Pretoria and grew up in Centurion, Gauteng. He attended Sutherland High School from 1988 to 1993, where his talent for golf was nurtured. Professional career Fichardt turned professional in 1994 and he won the Southern Africa Tour (now the Sunshine Tour) Order of Merit in 1999/2000 and 2003/04. He partnered Retief Goosen in South Africa's WGC-World Cup team in 2000. Fichardt has played on the European Tour since 2001 and has won four European Tour events.
