James Archibald Kiteley
James Archibald Kiteley (March 23, 1886 – 1965) was a physician and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Torch River in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1938 to 1944 as a Liberal. He was born in Simcoe County, Ontario and, in 1905, moved with his mother and brothers to a homestead in Tugaske, Saskatchewan. Kiteley studied medicine at the University of Manitoba, receiving his M.D. in 1915, and set up practice in Tugaske. Nipawin was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. This district was created before the 9th Saskatchewan general election in 1938 as "Torch River", after the rural municipality and the river that flows through it. Redrawn and renamed "Nipawin" in 1952, the constituency was dissolved before the 23rd Saskatchewan general election in 1995. The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan is the legislative chamber of the Saskatchewan Legislature in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Bills passed by the assembly are given royal assent by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, in the name of the King in Right of Saskatchewan. The assembly meets at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Regina. There are 61 constituencies in the province, which elect members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to the Legislative Assembly. Tugaske ( 2016 population: ) is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Huron No. 223 and Census Division No. 7. It is nicknamed Gateway to Lake Diefenbaker. It is near Eyebrow Lake, a prairie lake in the Qu'Appelle Valley. Nipawin () is a town in Saskatchewan, Canada, on the Saskatchewan River portion of Tobin Lake. The town lies between Codette Lake, created by the Francois-Finlay Dam (built in 1986) and Tobin Lake, created by the E.B. Campbell Dam built in 1963, renamed from Squaw Rapids.
