Jamar Diggs
Jamar Anthony Diggs (born November 27, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Alliance Sport Alsace of the LNB Pro B. College career Diggs played college basketball at Wayne State College and Wofford College. He graduated from Wofford College in 2011. As a Freshman at Wayne State College in Nebraska Diggs got off to hot start during the 2006–07 season. He was named Co-Newcomer of The Year averaging 10.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. As a Sophomore in the 2007–08 season he averaged 15.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists while also leading the team in scoring, assists, steals, as well as made field goals. During his last season at Wayne State College he ended on a high note with a very impressive conference tournament outburst including averages of 26 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 3.0 assists earning an All-Tournament spot. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. BK Barons Kvartals
BK Barons/LDz (previously Barons/LMT) was a professional basketball club which is based in Riga, Latvia. The team played in the first division of Latvian Basketball League. History Barons kvartāls was an integral part of Latvia's recent basketball history, as it (under the name Princips) was one of the foundation teams of the Latvian Basketball League (LBL) in 1992. In the first season Princips carried off bronze in the LBL. After two seasons Princips was renamed the LainERS, making their way into Latvia's basketball history with its first American legionary Mikki Jackson, with a cheerleader show and first ever game programmes in the Latvian league. The Cypriot Basketball Cup is an annual professional basketball national cup competition, organized by the Cyprus Basketball Federation since 1969. The 2011 NBA draft was held on June 23, 2011, at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Wofford College
Wofford College is a private liberal arts college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was founded in 1854. The campus is a national arboretum and one of the few four-year institutions in the southeastern United States founded before the American Civil War that still operates on its original campus. The Cypriot Basketball Division A is currently the top-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Format At present, six clubs compete in the league. Since the 2016–17 season, the six teams play each other four times during the regular season, with the top 4 teams reaching the play-off semi-finals stage. One team (the last one) at the end of the season is relegated to the second division, whilst one team from the second division is promoted. The play-off semi-finals and the championship winner will be decided after three wins.
