Jalal Ahmed
Jalal Ahmad ( bn, জালাল আহমদ) is a practicing Bangladeshi architect. He is the Ex-President of Institute of Architects Bangladesh and the vice president of Commonwealth Association of Architects. Career Ahmad was born in 1959, Sylhet. He completed his bachelor of architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and established ''Diagram Architects'' in 1983 with two other partners. Later he started his own architectural farm ''J. A. Architects'' in 1997. He won the North South University Campus International Design Competition (2002) and Mujib Nagar Memorial Open Design Competition (1984). He is a founding member of the architectural research group CHETANA, established in 1983. BRAC (NGO)
BRAC is an international development organisation based in Bangladesh. In order to receive foreign donations, BRAC was subsequently registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh. BRAC is the largest non-governmental development organisation in the world, in terms of number of employees as of September 2016. Established by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed in 1972 after the independence of Bangladesh, BRAC is present in all 64 districts of Bangladesh as well as 11 other countries in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Faridpur District ( bn, ফরিদপুর জেলা) is a district in south-central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Dhaka Division. It is bounded by the Padma River to its northeast.
