Jakob Ankersen
Jakob Ankersen (born 22 September 1990) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a winger for AC Horsens. He is the twin brother of FC Copenhagen player Peter Ankersen. Career Esbjerg fB On 24 June 2009, alongside his twin brother signed a professional contract and was promoted to the first team squad. He got his breakthrough in the 2010–11 season and was rewarded with a new contract until 2014. He extended his contract once again in July 2012 this time until 2016. He quickly became a regular part of the squad and played 32 league games in the 2012–13 season. Alongside twin brother Peter, he played an integral part of the Esbjerg fB team that following promotion won the Danish Cup and finished 4th in the Danish Superliga, forming a fast and aggressive right side for Esbjerg. Svenska Cupen
Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. The winners qualify for the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League. The winner is awarded Gustaf VI Adolf Cup. Compared to cups in many other countries, Svenska Cupen attracts considerably less public interest and even the cup final is rarely sold out. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. 2015 IFK Göteborg Season
The 2015 season was IFK Göteborg's 110th in existence, their 83rd season in Allsvenskan and their 39th consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan where they finished second for the second season in a row, Svenska Cupen where they won the competition, Svenska Supercupen where they finished as runners-up and in qualification for the UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the third qualifying round. 2014–15 Danish Superliga
The 2014–15 Danish Superliga season was the 25th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. Since Denmark dropped from fifteenth to nineteenth place in the 2014 UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2013–14 season, only the champion of the league qualified for the UEFA Champions League; that club would commence its campaign in the second qualifying round. Furthermore, the second and third-place clubs would now enter the UEFA Europa League in the first qualifying round. It marked the 100 year anniversary of the first ever Danish Football Championship, held in 1912–13. The season began on 13 July 2012 and ended on 20 May 2013. 2011–12 Danish 1st Division
The 2011–12 Danish 1st Division season is the 16th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It is set to start on 12 August 2011 with Viborg FF facing off against FC Hjørring. The final matches of the season are scheduled for 10 June 2012. This will be the only season with a fourteen-club First Division. As only one team will be promoted from the Second Divisions, the league will be reduced to twelve teams from the next season, switching to the same system as the Superliga with three round-robin rounds and two relegation spots. The division-champion and runners-up are promoted to the 2012–13 Danish Superliga. The teams in the 12th, 13th and 14th places are relegated to the 2012–13 Danish 2nd Divisions. 2010–11 Danish Superliga
The 2010–11 Danish Superliga season was the 21st season of the Danish Superliga championship, which decides the Danish football championship. It began on 17 July 2010 with the previous season's silver medalists from Odense facing Esbjerg and ended on 29 May 2011 with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen secured the title when Odense lost 1-2 to Nordsjælland on 21 April 2011, for their ninth Danish championship. Twelve teams were taking part in the tournament, facing each other three times for 33 matches total. For the first time since the 1999–2000 Danish Superliga, the top two teams entered the qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
