Jake Scrimshaw
Jake Scrimshaw (born 13 September 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays for Poole Town, as a striker. Early life Scrimshaw was born on the Isle of Wight, growing up in Ryde. He attended Ryde Academy. Career Scrimshaw began his career at AFC Bournemouth, joining them at the age of 15 following a trial with the club. He spent the 2018–19 season on loan at Poole Town, scoring 17 goals in 23 games in all competitions for the club. Following the loan spell he was praised by the club's manager, and turned professional with Bournemouth in June 2019. He moved on loan to Eastleigh in January 2020, making 10 appearances in all competitions, and signed a new two-year contract with Bournemouth in July 2020. He signed on loan for Walsall in October 2020. On 8 January 2021, Scrimshaw joined Newport County on loan until the end of the season. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. 2019–20 National League
The 2019–20 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifth season under English football's new title of National League, the sixteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-first season overall. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National League season was initially suspended on 16 March 2020 until at least 3 April. On 31 March, this suspension was extended indefinitely until further notice. On 22 April, clubs voted to end the season, with promotions and relegations still "under careful consideration". The Dorset Senior Cup is a knockout cup competition involving association football teams from the county of Dorset, England, affiliated with the Dorset County Football Association. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. Southern Football League
The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. The 2018–19 season is the 116th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. EFL Championship
The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The league is contested by 24 clubs.
