Jaime Molera
Jaime Molera (born March 31, 1968) is an American politician/businessman who served as the 18th Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, Superintendent of Public Instruction for the state of Arizona, appointed by Governor Jane Hull to replace Lisa Graham Keegan, and served from 2001 to 2003. Molera was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona and received his bachelor's degree in communications from Arizona State University. He served as the education adviser and chief of policy for Governor Hull and as the director of policy for Lisa Keegan, his predecessor as Superintendent. Molera was defeated by Tom Horne in the 2002 Republican primary. Molera served as president of the Arizona State Board of Education under Governor Jan Brewer from 2011 until 2013. Molera now works as a partner with Molera Alvarez, LLC (a government relations/lobbying firm) and CoNecs, N.A. (a marketing/advertising company). The Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction is an elected state executive position in the Arizona state government. Jane Hull
Jane Dee Hull (; August 8, 1935 – April 16, 2020) was an American politician and educator. In 1997, she ascended to the office of governor of Arizona following the resignation of Fife Symington, becoming the state's 20th governor. Hull was elected in her own right the following year, and served until 2003. Hull was the first woman formally elected as Governor of Arizona, and the second woman to serve in the office after Rose Mofford. She was a member of the Republican Party. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Hull was a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in education. Hull worked as an elementary school teacher while her husband studied to become an obstetrician. Lisa Graham Keegan
Lisa Graham Keegan (born July 20, 1959) is an American education reform advocate and the author of the parenting book '' Simple Choices''. She is the principal partner of the Keegan Company, an education policy consulting firm and the executative director of "A for Arizona," an. organization promoting a "shift (of) efforts toward studying schools that, despite being low income, are certainly on the high end of success." She served as Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction and as a senior policy advisor on education to Senator John McCain's presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2008. Tom Horne
Thomas Charles Horne (born March 28, 1945) is an American attorney, politician, and Republican activist who served as the 25th Attorney General of Arizona from 2011 to 2015. Horne lost to Mark Brnovich in the Republican primary for Attorney General in 2014. He previously served as the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction from 2003 to 2011. Janice Kay Brewer (''née'' Drinkwine, formerly Warren; born September 26, 1944) is an American politician and author who was the 22nd governor of Arizona from 2009 to 2015. A member of the Republican Party, Brewer is the fourth woman (and was the third consecutive woman) to be Governor of Arizona.
