Jaime Bourbonnais
Jaime Claire Bourbonnais (born September 9, 1998) is a Canadian women's ice hockey defender, currently playing for the Montréal section of the PWHPA. She made her debut for the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2018 4 Nations Cup. Playing career Participated with Team Ontario at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, in Prince George, British Columbia Participated in The National Women's Under-18 Championship winning Gold, where she was named the top defenseman. Hockey Canada With Canada's Under-22/Development Team, Bourbonnais captured a Silver medal at the 2017 Nations Cup. NCAA During her freshman season with the Cornell Big Red, Bourbonnais finishing tied for third on the team in points with 16. She finished the season selected for ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team as well as a Honorable Mention All-Ivy. IIHF Hall Of Fame
The IIHF Hall of Fame is a hall of fame operated by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It was founded in 1997, and has resided at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto since 1998. Prior to 1997, the IIHF housed exhibits at the International Hockey Hall of Fame in Kingston, Ontario. Inductions are made annually at the medal presentation day of the Ice Hockey World Championships. As of 2021, the IIHF has inducted 237 members. Roger Bourbonnais
Roger Maurice Bourbonnais (born October 26, 1942) is a retired ice hockey player. Career Bourbonnais played junior hockey for the Edmonton Oil Kings from 1960 to 1963. In his final year with the Oil Kings, he served as the team captain and led them to their first-ever Memorial Cup Championships. After playing junior hockey, he was recruited by Father David Bauer to attend the University of British Columbia. While there, Bauer coached them to compete in the Winter Olympics as part of the Canadian National Team. Bourbonnais competed in the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics and skated for Canada at the 1965, 1966 and 1967 IIHF World Championships. He won two bronze medals with the team under coach Bauer. His success on the international level drew attention from the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League, however, he turned them down to pursue his law degree. The IIHF Women's World U18 Championship, officially the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship, is an annual ice hockey tournament for national women's under-18 (U18) ice hockey teams, administrated by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It is the junior edition of the IIHF Women's World Championship and participation is limited to female ice hockey players under 18 years of age.
