Jagadish Bhalla
Jagadish Bhalla (born 1 November 1948) is an Indian Judge and former Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan High Court. Early life Bhalla's father was a doctor who was posted as Chief Medical Officer in Nainital. Bhalla completed his earlier education there. He passed M.A. and LL.B. from Lucknow University in 1971. Career Bhalla was enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Allahabad High Court and practiced law in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on Constitutional, Civil, Arbitration and Criminal matters. He worked as Special Counsel on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In 1983 he became the Standing Counsel for the State government. He was Honorary Head of the Law faculty, D.A.V. College Lucknow, Member of the Executive Council of Lucknow University and King George's Medical University. In 1995, Bhalla was appointed a Judge of Allahabad High Court. Nainital ( Kumaoni: ''Naintāl''; ) is a city and headquarters of Nainital district of Kumaon division, Uttarakhand, India. The Punjab State Human Rights Commission (PSHRC) of Punjab, India is a Statutory public body constituted on 17 March 1997. It was given a statutory basis by the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (PHRA). Rajasthan High Court
The Rajasthan High Court is the High Court of the state of Rajasthan. It was established on 29 August 1949 under the ''Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949''. The seat of the court is at Jodhpur. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 50. There were five High Courts functioning in the various units of the States - at Jodhpur, Jaipur and Bikaner, the High Courts of former Rajasthan and Matsya Union, before unification of the Rajasthan. The Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949 abolished these different jurisdictions and provided for a single High Court for the entire State. Himachal Pradesh High Court
The Himachal Pradesh High Court is the High Court of the state of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh was born as a result of integration of twenty six Province and four Punjab hill States into a Centrally Administered Area on 15 April 1948. The Central Government promulgated the Himachal Pradesh (Courts) Order, 1948 on 15 August 1948. As per Paragraph 3 of this Order, the Court of Judicial Commissioner was established for Himachal Pradesh and the Court was housed at "Harvingtan" (Kelston area, Bharari, Shimla).
