Jaffer Zaidi
Jaffer Zaidi ( ur, ) is a Pakistani musician, singer-songwriter, composer and pianist. He is best known as the lead vocalist of semiclassical band Kaavish. Propelled to success with the release of three singles "Bachpan", "Choti Khushiyaan", "Tere Pyar Mein" and album ''Gunkali'', Zaidi has established himself as one of leading musicians in country. Zaidi's album ''Gunkali'' received two nominations at 10th Lux Style Awards, including Best Artist for Zaidi and Best Producer for Faisal Rafi. It brought him a critical appraisal earning him a nomination at Best Debut award. Zaidi has also appeared in music reality series ''Coke Studio'' in three seasons, both as a musician and as a featured artist. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 2)
The second season of the Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio'' commenced airing on 14 June 2009 and ended on 14 August 2009 on Independence Day. The second series of ''Coke Studio'' included notable differences from the first series, including the fact that the live audiences were excluded. The series also ran for longer, this time there were five episodes in total and in each episode there were five or more performances by the featuring artists. Ali Khan is a Pakistani singer&songwriter and musician. Rose to prominence in 90's boy band The Vibes, Khan established himself as a solo singer in 2000 with the release of his single "Surmai Ankhon Mein", that was well received by critics. Ali Azmat Butt (born 20 April 1970) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known as the lead singer for the influential Sufi Rock band Junoon and for his subsequent solo career. In 2001, he became part of the first Pakistani band (Junoon) ever to perform at the United Nations General Assembly. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 8)
The eighth season of the Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio'' premiered on 16 August 2015 and aired its finale on 4 October 2015. It aired a weekly episode every Sunday on various channels across Pakistan. The season was revived under the tagline of ''The Sound of Nation''. The debut producers of season 7, Strings duo and series regular producer Coca-Cola, continued their journey as producers in this season. Earlier, rumours were made that Rohail Hyatt would be back as a producer this season but he denied rumors saying "Just for the record, I'm not producing the next season of Coke Studio Pakistan (2015)....... I would like to produce my 7th season of Coke Studio one day. I hope this clears any confusion".
