Hyacinthe Jadin
Hyacinthe Jadin (27 April 1776 – 27 September 1800) was a French composer who came from a musical family. His uncle Georges Jadin was a composer in Versailles and Paris, along with his father Jean Jadin, who had played bassoon for the French Royal Orchestra. He was one of five musical brothers, the best known of whom was Louis-Emmanuel Jadin. Life and career Jadin was born in Versailles. At the age of 9, Jadin's first composition, a ''Rondo'' for piano, was published in the ''Journal de Clavecin.'' By the age of thirteen, Jadin had premiered his first work with the Concert Spirituel. Jadin took a job in 1792 as assistant rehearsal pianist (''Rezizativbegleiter'') at the Theatre Feydeau. In this year he composed the ''Marche du siège de Lille'' ("March of the Siege of Lille"), commemorating the successful resistance of the citizens of Lille when besieged by Austrian forces. Louis-Emmanuel Jadin
Louis-Emmanuel Jadin (21 September 1768 – 11 April 1853) was a French composer, pianist and harpsichordist. Jadin was born in Versailles. He learned piano from his brother Hyacinthe Jadin and later worked at the Théâtre de Monsieur. His first opera was staged in Versailles in 1788. The following year he took the position of second keyboardist at the Théâtre de Monsieur. In 1792 he became a musician in the National Guard. In 1802 he acted as a professor of music and in 1806 was director of the Théâtre Molière. He later won fame as a pianist and taught at the Paris Conservatory. He was made Chevalier of the Légion d’honneur in 1824. Many of his works were published in Paris, where he died. The playwright and chansonnier Adolphe Jadin was his son. Louis Godefroy Jadin
Louis Godefroy Jadin (June 30, 1805, Paris - 1882, Paris) was a French painter specializing in animals and landscapes, especially known for having painted the hunts of Napoleon III and the dogs of the high society of the Second Empire. His father was the composer Louis-Emmanuel Jadin. In painting and engraving, a student of Louis Hersent, of Abel de Pujol, of Paul Huet, of Richard Parkes Bonington and of Alexandre-Gabriel Decamps, he exhibited at the Salon for the first time in 1831. A close friend of Alexandre Dumas, Jadin accompanied Dumas on several voyages, in particular to Naples in 1835 and to Florence in 1840. Dumas introduced the painter to Ferdinand Philippe, Duke of Orléans, for whom Jadin decorated the dining room of the palace of Tuileries with hunting scenes. Jadin won two medals of the third class, in 1834 and 1855, a medal of the second class in 1840, and a medal of the first class in 1848. Paul Jadin
Paul F. Jadin (born May 2, 1955) was the 40th mayor of Green Bay, Wisconsin, from 1995 to 2003. Electoral history Jadin won his first general election with 55% of the vote and was the first mayor of Green Bay in over fifty years to run for re-election unopposed. Prior to his election, Jadin had been the city's personnel director. After leaving office, he became president of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. He resigned the position on December 28, 2010. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed as the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce in Governor Scott Walker's cabinet.
