Jade Sutherland
Jade Sutherland is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Kate Garven. She appeared in the series from 19 June 2000 until 3 June 2004. Character development Jade is introduced into the series as part of the new Sutherland family who move from the city to live in Summer Bay. Jade was Garven's first role on television. Garven said that working on ''Home and Away'' was a fun experience and that she had developed a good working relationship with those who play her on-screen family. Jade is portrayed as the "quieter" and "dreamy" of the Sutherland sisters, a keen book reader who likes to help out those less fortunate than herself. Jade is prone to illness and is a long sufferer of asthma. Jade's family see her as "fragile" and "vulnerable" and feel the need to treat her with care. Judith Anne Nunn ( AM) (born 1945 in Perth, Western Australia), (also published under the pen name of Judy Bernard-Waite), is an Australian fiction author, former theatre and television actress and radio and television screenwriter. Ailsa Stewart (also Hogan) is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Judy Nunn. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 17 January 1988. Ailsa was married to Alf Stewart and had a son Duncan. When Nunn decided to leave to devote more time with her novels, she was one of only four original cast members. Duncan Stewart (Home And Away)
Duncan Stewart is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away''. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 14 June 1989. He was initially portrayed by Allana Ellis, with actor Lewis Devaney taking over the role from 1990 to 1998. Brendan McKensy assumed the role in 1998 until Duncan's departure in 2001. Paula Forrest (born 14 July, c. 1965) an Australians, Australian actress, best known for playing the role of Shelley Sutherland on the long-running Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'' In ''Home and Away'' (1988), Forrest played the part of Shelley who was the wife of Rhys, played by Michael Beckley and mother to Dani, played by Tammin Sursok, Jade, played by Kate Garven and Kirsty, played by Christie Hayes who lived in the Caravan Park and worked as a social worker.
