The Rivière Jacquot is a tributary of the Sainte-Anne River flowing in the municipalities of Saint-Léonard-de-Portneuf and Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, in the MRC Portneuf Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in Quebec, in Canada. The upper part of the river is mainly served by the route 367 (chemin du rang Saint-Paul), by the chemin du rang Saint-Jacques and the chemin du rang Saint-Georges. Portneuf is a regional county municipality (RCM) in the Capitale-Nationale administrative region of Quebec, Canada. RCM of Portneuf has been established on January 1, 1982. Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, Quebec
Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne is a small village in the Portneuf Regional County in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the south shore of the Sainte-Anne River on Route 354, between St-Casimir and St-Raymond. It is the place where the Canadian-American actor Glenn Ford was born in 1916. History In 1893, the local mission was founded, named after Sainte Christine (born Clara Deschènes) who held a senior position at the Daughters of Charity in Quebec at that time. In 1895, it became a parish by separating from Saint-Raymond, Saint-Basile, and Notre-Dame-de-Portneuf. A year later, it was incorporated as the Parish Municipality of Sainte-Christine and its post office opened. The Sainte-Anne River is a tributary of the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River, whose mouth is located at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade. Route 367 is a 100 km two-lane north-south highway on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. Although it is technically a north-south highway, long stretches of the road are east-west.
