Jacob Dilßner
Jacob Dilßner (born 17 July 1987), better known by his stage name Wankelmut, is a German electronic music DJ and record producer based in Berlin. He rose to fame internationally through the remix hit " One Day / Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix)". Career Early beginnings Dilßner lived in Friedrichshain, a Berlin borough. He studied at Georg-Herwegh-Oberschule and followed piano lessons. He enrolled for university studies picking Philosophy and Political Science and while studying, did DJing on a part-time basis at various Berlin venues, notably Sisyphos and M.I.K.Z. . He chose the name Wankelmut, a German term for "fickleness" describing his music as "fickle music, diverse and multi-faceted". 2012: "One Day / Reckoning Song" His fame came with his remix of Asaf Avidan & The Mojos song "Reckoning Song" that he heard during a visit to the United States. Friedrichshain () is a quarter (''Ortsteil'') of the borough of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany. From its creation in 1920 until 2001, it was a freestanding city borough. "My Head Is a Jungle" is a remixed version of Australian singer-songwriter Emma Louise's solo single "Jungle", credited to German producer Wankelmut and Emma Louise. It was released in 2 January 2013 through German label Poesie Musik, a sublabel of Get Physical Music. "My Head Is a Jungle" charted across Europe, having the most success in Italy and the United Kingdom, where it reached number 5. A remix by MK not released on the original press received airplay in mid-2014, and is more popular by YouTube views than the original. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. VG-lista is a Norwegian record chart. It is presented weekly in the newspaper '' VG''. It is considered the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continents around the world. The data are collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and are based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway. The singles chart started as a top 10 chart in week 42 of 1958 and was expanded to a top 20 chart in week 5 of 1995, the same time the albums chart, which started as a top 20 chart in week 1 of 1967 was expanded to a top 40 chart. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI). During the following years, most of the remaining Italian record labels left AFI to join the new organisation. As of 2011, FIMI represents 2,500 companies operating in the music business. FIMI is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and of the Italian employers' federation, Confindustria. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia.
