Jacob De Geer
Jacob Louis de Geer (born August 1975) is a Swedish entrepreneur. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of financial technology company Zettle. Early life and education De Geer grew up in Stora Wäsby Castle in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. His father, Carl de Geer, was a banker and his mother Christina worked as a teacher. De Geer graduated with a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1999. Career In 1999, de Geer became the first employee of TradeDoubler, a digital marketing company founded by Martin Lorentzon. In 2007, de Geer left TradeDoubler and co-founded a media agency, Tre Kronor, and film sharing service, Ameibo. Zettle by PayPal (previously known as iZettle) is a Swedish financial technology company founded by Jacob de Geer and Magnus Nilsson in April 2010. Launching its first app and service in 2011, the company offers a range of financial products including payments, point of sales, funding and partners applications. Stora Wäsby Castle
Stora Wäsby Castle is a manor house in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. History Stora Wäsby was an estate dating during the Middle Ages. In 1730, Stora Wäsby became a fideicommissary within the De Geer family. The main building is a two-story stone house in Rococo architecture. The manor house was built in the 1760s according to drawings by the architect Carl Hårleman (1700–1753) but was completed under the direction of architect Jean Eric Rehn (1717–1793) after Hårleman's death. Adjacent to the manor is the Baroque Park, which was laid out in the 17th century. During the 1920s, architect Isak Gustaf Clason worked at Stora Väsby to carry out interior and exterior renovations. Sven Hans Martin Lorentzon (; born 1 April 1969) is a Swedish entrepreneur and co-founder of Tradedoubler and Spotify. From 2013 to 2018 he was on the board of Telia Company.
