Jack Prendergast
Jack Prendergast (born 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays for Waterford Senior Championship club Lismore and at inter-county level with the Waterford senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a left wing-forward. Playing career Blackwater Community School Prendergast first came to prominence as a hurler with Blackwater Community School in Lismore. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team as a 14-year-old and lined out in several Harty Cup campaigns. Waterford Institute of Technology As a student at the Waterford Institute of Technology, Prendergast joined the senior hurling team during his second year. He lined out for WIT in the Fitzgibbon Cup campaigns in 2018 and 2019. Lismore Prendergast joined the Lismore club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels. 2019 National Hurling League
The 2019 National Hurling League is the 88th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Kilkenny were the defending champions, having won the 2018 league. The GAA announced a new broadcast agreement on 10 January 2019 that runs from 2019 until 2022. Eir Sport and RTÉ provide live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games. The 2019 Munster Senior Hurling League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League, is the fourth Munster Senior Hurling League, an annual hurling league competition for county teams from the province of Munster. For the first time, all six county teams competed, with Tipperary making their debut. They reached the final where they lost to Clare. The Munster Senior Hurling League (known in some years as the Munster Hurling Cup) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2016 for the top inter-county teams in the province of Munster in Ireland. The 2018 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 55th and last staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 7 May 2018 and ended on 26 August 2018. Limerick were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Tipperary in the Munster semi-final. On 26 August 2018, Tipperary won the championship following a 3-13 to 1-16 defeat of Cork in the All-Ireland final. The Munster GAA Hurling Minor Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Hurling Minor Championship) is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
