Jack Grimsley
John Franklin Grimsley (18 October 1925 – June 8, 2015) known as Jack Grimsley was an Australian musical director and composer who worked as the Musical Director at Network Ten between 1966 and 1988. He also worked on many compilation albums involving various styles of music, including jazz and swing music. Grimsley responsible for the creating the theme music of ''Wheel of Fortune'' and ''Sale of the Century'' in Australia. The 2005 revival of ''Sale of the Century'', known as ''Temptation'' did not use Grimsley's theme, although ''Wheel of Fortune'' kept the original score with an updated rendition of his theme in 1995. John Williamson (singer)
John Robert Williamson (born 1 November 1945) is an Australian country music and folk music singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, television host and conservationist. Williamson usually writes and performs songs that relate to the history and culture of Australia, particularly the outback, in a similar vein to Slim Dusty and Buddy Williams before him. Williamson has released over fifty albums, ten videos, five DVDs, and two lyric books and has sold more than 4,000,000 albums in Australia. His best known hit is " True Blue". ''Temptation'' was an Australian game show which premiered on the Nine Network on 30 May 2005 and aired at 7.00pm (5.30pm for most regionals). Hosted by Ed Phillips and Livinia Nixon, the show was a remake of ''Sale of the Century'', which aired on Nine in the same timeslot for more than twenty years between 1980 and 2001. ''Temptation'' had the same general format of its predecessor, but with several new features and a deemphasis on the "shopping" aspects of the endgame. The show ran until 30 November 2007, when it was placed on hiatus by the network following strong competition from game show ''Deal or No Deal'' on the rival Seven Network; during the hiatus, Nine filled the timeslot with episodes of the American sitcom ''Two and a Half Men''.
