Jack Goodman (editor)
Jack Goodman (born September 9, 1973) was a Republican member of the Missouri Senate, representing the 29th District between 2005 and 2012. He is currently a Circuit Judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit, which consists of Stone, Barry, and Lawrence counties. Biography Jack Goodman grew up in Pierce City, Missouri, and graduated from Pierce City High School in 1991. He attended the University of Missouri, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 1995 and his Juris Doctor in 1998. After graduating from law school, Sen. Goodman served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Dade County, Missouri until 2002, when he was elected to his first term in the Missouri House. Then-Representative Goodman represented the 132nd District, covering almost all of Lawrence County. During his three-year House tenure, Sen. Larry Gene Taylor
Larry Gene Taylor (August 7, 1953 – July 6, 2005) was an American politician and businessman who served as a member of both chambers of the Missouri General Assembly. Early life and education Taylor was born in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Dorothy Taylor and the late Missouri congressman, Gene Taylor. He was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School and went on to Missouri Southern State University. Career Taylor was the youngest delegate at the 1972 Republican National Convention. He owned an automobile dealership, Gene Taylor Ford and Sales, and was an automobile and boat wholesaler. He was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2002 and elected to the Missouri Senate in 2004. Christopher Samuel "Kit" Bond (born March 6, 1939) is an American attorney, politician and former United States Senator from Missouri and a member of the Republican Party. First elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, he defeated Democrat Harriett Woods by a margin of 53%–47%. He was re-elected in 1992, 1998, and 2004. On January 8, 2009, he announced that he would not seek re-election to a fifth term in 2010, and was succeeded by fellow Republican Roy Blunt on January 3, 2011.
