Jacey Jetton
Jacey Ray Jetton (born September 14, 1983) is an American politician and business owner serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from the 26th district. Jetton was first elected in November 2020 and assumed office in January 2021. He is a member of the Republican Party. Jetton previously served as the chairman of the Fort Bend County Republican Party. Jetton, who is Korean American through one parent, was the first Asian American county chair in Texas history. In 2021, Jetton authored legislation that would prohibit drive-thru voting, which had been introduced in Harris County, Texas, during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, Jetton (a member of the Army National Guard) was called to active duty. Rick Miller is an American politician. He served as a Republican Party (United States), Republican member for the 26th district of the Texas House of Representatives. Miller attended the United States Naval Academy and the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, where he earned his Master of Science degree. Miller was a pitcher for the United States Olympic baseball team in Mexico. He was a United States Naval Aviator in carrier-based squadrons, and had staff assignments at the Pentagon. He was a senior member of the Strategic Studies Group of the Chief of Naval Operations, tasked with developing naval strategies for the 21st century. Drive-thru voting describes the method of voting in an election whereby completed ballot papers submitted by placing them in a drop-box. Drive-thru voting is an alternative to having voters go in person to a polling station, vote electronically via an electronic voting system, and postal voting. Use This method of voting is not heavily utilized yet but has been available in El Dorado County, California, for the 2008 election year where more than 500 voters used the drop boxes, and in Calgary, Alberta, for the 2017 election.
