Jacek Kawalec (2018)
Jacek Kawalec (born 29 September 1961 in Warsaw) is a Polish actor, game show and television personality. He gained popularity as a host of one of the first American shows to be licensed and remade to be broadcast on Polish television - 'Randka w ciemno' (the format of The Dating Game). After he quit the show in 1998, due to a fire accident which was broadcast live, Kawalec became a dubbing actor in animated films with leading roles in such hits as ''Finding Nemo'' (''Gdzie jest Nemo?'') or ''Ice Age'' (''Epoka lodowcowa''). In 2006 he received a role in the popular TVP TV series '' Ranczo''; he created (2006–2009, 2011–2016) the character of a local teacher of Polish literature. The Dating Game
''The Dating Game'' is an American television game show that first aired on December 20, 1965, and was the first of many shows created and packaged by Chuck Barris from the 1960s through the 1980s. ABC dropped the show on July 6, 1973, but it continued in syndication for another year (1973–1974) as ''The New Dating Game''. The program was revived three additional times in syndication afterward, with the first from 1978 to 1980 as ''The All-New Dating Game'', the second from 1986 to 1989, and the third from 1996 to 1999. Jim Lange hosted ''The Dating Game'' for its entire ABC network run and for the 1973 and 1978 syndicated editions. The 1986 revival was hosted by Elaine Joyce for its first season and Jeff MacGregor for its remaining two seasons. When the show was revived with a different format in 1996, Brad Sherwood was named as its host. Filmweb is an online database of information related to films, television series, actors and film crew personnel. Since 2011, the database also contains video games. Filmweb was launched on March 18, 1998. It is a Polish-language site, and the largest Polish film database. History Filmweb was created by Artur Gortych, and launched on March 18, 1998. On January 20, 2000, it became the first Polish website available through Wireless Application Protocol. In 2005, Filmweb PRO (aimed at entertainment professionals) was launched. On May 20, 2010, the beta version of the website was launched, and Filmweb also started to use a new algorithm, called Gustomierz (''Tastemeter''). Registered users, that have rated at least 50 movies, are able to see how much particular movie is supposed to be liked by them and to find taste similar users.
