Jaak Jõerüüt
Jaak Jõerüüt (born 9 December 1947 in Tallinn) is an Estonian writer and politician. He was the defense minister of Estonia from November 2004 to 10 October 2005. Jõerüüt first came to political prominence when he became one of the voters for the Estonian restoration of Independence. He was then appointed to be Minister of Defence in November 2004 in Juhan Parts's government. When Parts resigned in April 2005, Jaak Jõerüüt was one of the few ministers retained in Andrus Ansip's government. In September 2005, Jõerüüt resigned voluntarily over the so-called "T-Shirt Affair". Jaak Prints (born Jaak Teppart; 7 May 1981) is an Estonian actor, director, television presenter and former footballer. Prints was born in Tallinn to actors Sulev Teppart and Anu Lamp. His younger brother Tõnn Lamp is also an actor. In 2004, he graduated from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in acting speciality. 2004-2005 he was an actor at Vanemuine Theatre. 2005–2012, he was an actor at Theatre NO99. He has also been a footballer. His last club was JK Viimsi II. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer and the chief coordinator of the Department of Drama of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Jaak Panksepp (June 5, 1943 – April 18, 2017) was an Estonian-American neuroscientist and psychobiologist who coined the term "affective neuroscience", the name for the field that studies the neural mechanisms of emotion. Jaak Lipso
Jaak Lipso (born April 18, 1940) is a retired Estonian professional basketball player, who competed for the Soviet Union. He is the only Estonian basketball player who has won two medals at the Olympic Games. Lipso has also won two medals at the FIBA World Championship and he is a three-time Eurobasket champion with the Soviet Union national basketball team. Jacques-Nicolas (Jaak-Nicolaas) Lemmens (3 January 1823 – 30 January 1881), was an organist, music teacher, and composer for his instrument. Biography Born at Zoerle-Parwijs, near Westerlo, Belgium, Lemmens took lessons from François-Joseph Fétis, who wanted to make him into a musician capable of renewing the organ-player's art in Belgium. Fétis sent him to Adolf Friedrich Hesse in Germany to learn Johann Sebastian Bach's tradition.
