Tanzanian First Division League
The Tanzanian Championship (formerly, Second Division League and "Ligi Daraja la Kwanza" in Swahili) is the second tier of league Association football, football in Tanzania. The league is made up of sixteen teams that play thirty rounds, home and away.The league was formed in 1930. The top two teams at the end of the season get promoted to the Tanzania Premier League, while the third and fourth go into a playoff with two last-placed teams not eligible for automatic relegation. The Tanzania Mainland Premier League () is the top-level professional association football, football league in Tanzania and is administered by the Tanzania Football Federation. History The league was first organised in 1921 in Dar es Salaam. By 1929, it had six participants. In the 1930s, it included street teams such as Arab Sports (Kariakoo) and New Strong Team (Kisutu), made up mainly of Arabs and Africans respectively. The Sudanese community also had its own team, though it included other ethnicities as well. It joined the league in 1941. Other contemporary teams included the Khalsas, an exclusively Sikh team, and the Ilala Staff, a team with Ilala District, Ilalan residents. Navo Sanane
Navo is an unincorporated community in east central Denton County, Texas, United States, located along U.S. Highway 380 about 10 miles east of Denton, Texas. History According to the Handbook of Texas, Navo began in 1847 by Thomas Navo, its namesake. A post office existed from 1884–1907, and Navo had a population of 36 from the mid-1930s through the late 1980s. For many years the town had a grocery store and gas station, which has been used for several businesses off-and-on since. The population was 35 in 2000, though a few nearby subdivided communities of Denton have sprung up as the area between Denton and McKinney, Texas continues to grow in population. The community of Paloma Creek sits on what used to be considered Navo (which technically no longer exists).
