JBXE
JBXE is an Extreme E racing team. The team was founded by the 2009 Formula One World Champion, Jenson Button, and takes part in the series that is highlighting the impacts of climate change. History In January 2021, it was announced that Jenson Button had founded his own team for the newly established racing series. The name "JBXE" takes its name from the initials of Jenson Button, with the XE standing for Extreme E. It was initially announced that Button would be driving in the team himself alongside Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky. However, Button decided to step down as the driver of his own team after the team's debut race and was replaced by Kevin Hansen. With a second-place finish in the final race of the inaugural season, JBXE secured third place overall, beating the Andretti United Extreme E by 2 points. In the 2022 season, Molly Taylor (round 1), Hedda Hosås (rounds 2 to 5), Kevin Hansen (rounds 1 to 4) and Fraser McConnell (round 5) raced for JBXE. The team finished th ...

2021 Extreme E Championship
The 2021 Extreme E Championship was the inaugural season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series. It started on 3 April with the Desert X-Prix in Saudi Arabia. Calendar A provisional race schedule was announced on 17 December 2019, which would have seen a season start in January 2021 with an event in Senegal. But because of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic the start of the season was pushed back to spring 2021, and a race in Patagonia was presented to replace a Nepal-based event. On 11 June 2021, both South American events –planned to be held in Ushuaia, Argentina and Santarém, Brazil– were cancelled, with championship CEO Alejandro Agag stating they are "seeking alternate destinations". 2022 Island X-Prix
The 2022 Island X-Prix (formally the 2022 Neom Island X-Prix) was a pair of Extreme E off-road races that was held on 6, 7, 9 and 10 July 2022 at Capo Teulada, in the Sulcis-Iglesiente region of the Italian island of Sardinia. It marked the second and third rounds of the electric off-road racing car series' second season, as well as the second running of the event. Though initially scheduled to host only the second round in May, it was later turned into a double header and postponed to July when the third round, originally planned to take place in Scotland or Senegal, was cancelled due to financial issues. As such, the two events were treated as separate competitions and distinguished in official documents as the "Island X-Prix I" and "Island X-Prix II". 2022 Extreme E Championship
The 2022 Extreme E Championship was the second season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series. Calendar On 24 September 2021, a provisional five-round calendar was revealed, which included a return to Saudi Arabia for the season opener in February, an African event, a second Arctic X-Prix in Greenland or Iceland, and two trips to South America. A further update was announced on 22 December 2021. Saudi Arabia and Sardinia return from the previous year, with new events to be held in Chile, Uruguay and either Scotland or Senegal. The latter was later cancelled on 8 April due to financial issues, with Sardinia postponed until July and now set to host two events. Hedda Hosås
Hedda Hosås (born 2 March 2001) is a rallycross driver from Norway who currently races for JBXE in the Extreme E Championship. Biography Early career Having initially started in motocross at the age of 15, Hosås got into car racing a year later when her dad introduced her to it. She ended up preferring the latter, but difficulties with budget and facilities led to her working as a mechanic to fund her career and travelling large distances only to train. With help from local sponsors and the mentorship of FIA World Rallycross Championship driver Ulrik Linnemann, she went to Denmark to race and test, where she caught the eye of Veloce Racing team manager Ian Davies, who signed her as the team's reserve driver for the 2021 Extreme E Championship. The 2021 Ocean X-Prix was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 29 and 30 May 2021 in Lac Rose, Senegal. It was the second round of the electric off-road racing car series' inaugural season. The final was won by championship leaders Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson for the Rosberg X Racing team, ahead of Veloce Racing and JBXE. 2021 Jurassic X-Prix
The 2021 Jurassic X-Prix was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 18 and 19 December 2021 at Bovington Camp, in Dorset, England. It was the fifth and last round of the electric off-road racing car series' inaugural season. A significant rule adjustment was introduced for the event to accommodate the short nature of the circuit, each session now consisting of three laps, with the starting driver, who in the final would be the female driver, taking the first two. The final was won by Cristina Gutiérrez and Sébastien Loeb for Team X44, ahead of JBXE and Andretti United Extreme E. 2021 Arctic X-Prix
The 2021 Arctic X-Prix was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 28 and 29 August 2021 in Russell Glacier, near Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. It was the third round of the electric off-road racing car series' inaugural season, and marked the first ever motorsport event held in Greenland. The final was won by Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen for the Andretti United Extreme E team, ahead of JBXE and Acciona Sainz XE Team.
