J. J. Eubanks
John Hugh Eubanks, known as J. J. Eubanks (born November 13, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6-foot-6 guard/forward, he played his first two years of college basketball at Sullivan College in the junior college circuit before transferring to Marshall (where he never played a game) and then to Tennessee State. After going undrafted in the 1991 NBA draft he started his professional career in the World Basketball League where he won the Rookie of the Year award. He had his first experience in Europe with Italian club Basket Rimini. On October 9, 1994 he scored 101 points during an Israeli league game between Maccabi Ramat Gan and Beitar Ramat Gan, setting a single-game scoring record for the league and becoming one of the players to score 100 or more points in a game. Guard (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Alvark Tokyo is a Japanese professional basketball team located in Tokyo. The team, which is sponsored by Toyota, currently plays in the Japanese B.League. Until 2000, the team was known as the Toyota Pacers. Founded as Toyota Pacers in 1948, the club won two consecutive JBL Super League league titles in 2006 and 2007. World Basketball League
World Basketball League (WBL) was a minor professional basketball league in the United States and Canada that ran from 1988 to 1992. It was founded as the International Basketball Association in November 1987, before changing its name prior to the 1988 season. One of the major differences between it and other leagues was that it had a height restriction. Players over 6 ft 5 in (1.95 m) were not allowed to play; this restriction was raised to 6 ft 7 in (2.0 m) in 1991. The Liga Nacional de Básquet (abbreviated LNB, and literally in English, "National Basketball League"), also commonly referred to as "La Liga de Básquet" ("The Basketball League"), is the top-tier level of the Argentine basketball league system. Viola Reggio Calabria was an Italian professional basketball club based in Reggio Calabria, Calabria.
