''Isyu ug Istorya'' () is a Philippine television documentary show broadcast by GMA Network in the Mindanao region. Hosted by John Paul Seniel, it premiered on July 19, 2014. The show concluded on February 28, 2015 with a total of 31 episodes. It served as a spin-off of '' Isyu Mindanao''. Mindanao ( ) ( Jawi: مينداناو) is the second-largest island in the Philippines, after Luzon, and seventh-most populous island in the world. DXMJ-TV, Channel 5 (analog) and Channel 37 (digital), is a commercial television station owned and operated by GMA Network Inc. DXJC-TV, Channel 35 (analog) and Channel 47 (digital), is a commercial television station owned and operated by GMA Network Inc. Its studios and offices are located at the 2nd floor Centro Mariano Building, Sergio Osmeña St., Barangay 31, Cagayan de Oro, while its transmitter is located at GMA Transmitter Site, Malasag Heights, Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro. DXBG-TV, Channel 8 (analog) and Channel 34 (digital), is a local commercial television station owned and operated by GMA Network Inc. Its studio and transmitter are located at Nuñez St., Brgy. San Isidro, General Santos City. History GMA General Santos began its broadcast on Channel 5 ( DXWP-TV) as an affiliate of Southern TV Industries from 1985 to 1992. 480i is the video mode used for standard-definition digital television in the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Laos, Western Sahara, and most of the Americas (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay). The Isyu Ngayon series (''Issues Today'') was a brand of regional news magazine shows of different GMA Regional TV stations in the Philippines. They were aired weekly in Dagupan, Cebu, Iloilo and Davao on Saturday mornings; and aired daily in Naga, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos.
