GMA Northern Mindanao
DXJC-TV, Channel 35 (analog) and Channel 47 (digital), is a commercial television station owned and operated by GMA Network Inc. Its studios and offices are located at the 2nd floor Centro Mariano Building, Sergio Osmeña St., Barangay 31, Cagayan de Oro, while its transmitter is located at GMA Transmitter Site, Malasag Heights, Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro. The network invested PhP 200 million for the upgrade of the station's studios and facilities and was launched January 23, 2013 (with the branding GMA Northern Mindanao) in time for the 2013 midterm elections. On February 5, 2013, the frequency moved to Channel 35, together with the launch of the Cebuano-language newscast Testigo Northern Mindanao. Cagayan De Oro

2013 Philippine General Election
A general election was held in the Philippines on May 13, 2013. It was a midterm election—the officials elected will be sworn in on June 30, 2013, midway through President Benigno Aquino III's term of office. Being elected are 12 senators (half of the Senate), and all 229 district members of the House of Representatives. These national elections were held on the same day as local and gubernatorial elections, as well as a general election in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. In total, there were 18,022 national and local positions up for election. Barangay officials, including barangay captains, were elected on October 28, 2013. Ozamiz, officially the City of Ozamiz ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Ozamiz; fil, Lungsod ng Ozamiz), is a 3rd class component city in the province of Misamis Occidental, Philippines.
