Isaac Hanson
Hanson is an American pop band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, formed by brothers Isaac Hanson (guitar, vocals, bass, piano), Taylor Hanson (keyboards, vocals, percussion), and Zac Hanson (drums, vocals, piano). Supporting members include Dimitrius Collins (guitar) and Andrew Perusi (bass), who have toured and performed live with the band since 2007. Hanson is best known for the 1997 hit song " MMMBop" from their debut album released through Mercury/Polygram Records, entitled '' Middle of Nowhere'', which earned three Grammy nominations. The group's label Mercury Records was merged with its sister labels and the band were moved to Island Def Jam Music Group. After releasing one album on Island Def Jam, the label and the group parted ways. Hanson have sold over 16 million records worldwide and have had three top 20 albums in the United States. 3CG Records is an independent record label started by the pop group Hanson (band), Hanson in October 2003. "3CG" is an acronym "3 Car Garage" that refers to the building the band used as a recording studio and to the compilation album the band released before its chart success. Steve Greenberg (record Producer)
Steve Greenberg is an American record producer currently heading the S-Curve Records label. He also manages the pop band AJR and is the host/writer of the podcast "Speed of Sound". He is noted for "discovering" popular musical acts such as Hanson, Baha Men, Jonas Brothers, Joss Stone and AJR. He received a 2000 Grammy Award in the "Best Dance Recording" category as a producer of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by Baha Men. Greenberg also won a 2019 Grammy Award in the "Best Album Notes" category for his essay featured in the "Stax '68: A Memphis Story" boxed set. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
