Iosif Rotariu
Iosif Rotariu (born 27 September 1962) is a retired Romanian association football midfielder. He debuted in Divizia A with FC Politehnica Timișoara in 1981. He won the league championship with Steaua București in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1997 and 1998, and won the Romanian Cup with the same club in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1997. He also played abroad, in Turkey. Rotariu made his debut for the Romanian national team in 1988 against Netherlands, and represented his country at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He got 25 caps in total, the last in 1997, and scored one international goal, against Poland in 1990. The 1983–84 Divizia B was the 44th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them having 18 teams. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. 1982–83 Cupa României
The 1982–83 Cupa României was the 45th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Universitatea Craiova against Politehnica Timișoara. Craiova were unable to play in the 1983–84 European Cup Winners' Cup though, as the closing date for entries was a week before the final. As a result, both the President and Secretary of the Romanian FA – Andrei Rădulescu and Florin Dumitrescu were sacked. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. Dorin Rotariu (; born 29 July 1995) is a Romanian professional Association football, footballer who plays for Super League Greece team Atromitos F.C., Atromitos, on loan from PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, Ludogorets Razgrad. Primarily a Midfielder#Winger, winger, he can also be deployed as a Forward (association football)#Second striker, second striker. Rotariu moved from boyhood club FC Politehnica Timișoara, Politehnica Timișoara to FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București in 2012, aged 17. Steaua Stadium ( ro, Stadionul Steaua), informally also known as Ghencea, was a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania, which served as the home of Steaua București.
