"Innocence" is a song by British dubstep trio Nero (band), Nero. It was released in the United Kingdom as a Music download, digital download on 26 April 2010 as the lead single from the debut studio album, ''Welcome Reality'' – also acting as a double A-side with the track "Electron". The single peaked at number 167 on the UK Singles Chart, also reaching number 15 and number 16 on the UK Indie Chart, independent releases chart and UK Dance Chart, dance chart respectively. Music video A music video to accompany the release of "Innocence" was first posted onto YouTube on 2 April 2010. Nero (stylised as NERO) are a British electronic music trio composed of members Dan Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson. On 12 August 2011, they released their debut studio album, ''Welcome Reality'', which reached number one in the UK Albums Chart. In August 2012, "Promises (Nero song), Promises" received a Gold certification in the United States. On 10 February 2013, Nero won a Grammy Award for their collaborative remix of "Promises" with Skrillex. Their second studio album, ''Between II Worlds'', was released on 11 September 2015. History Ray and Stephens were both born in 1984. Ray grew up in Northwood, London, whilst Stephens grew up in Notting Hill. The boys met Watson when they were 18. Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus ( ; born Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus; 15 December AD 37 – 9 June AD 68), was the fifth Roman emperor and final emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, reigning from AD 54 until his death in AD 68. Cyber City Oedo 808
is a 1990–1991 cyberpunk original video animation. It was directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri. Set in the year 2808 in the city of Oedo (Tokyo), it tells the story of three criminals who are enlisted into fighting crime in exchange for reduced sentences. They are Sengoku, an anti-social maverick, Gogul, a mohawk wearing hacker, and Benten, an androgynous bishōnen. The UK release of the OVA includes a completely new score by Rory McFarlane. ''Welcome Reality'' is the debut album by British dubstep group Nero. A concept album, it was released first in Ireland on 12 August 2011 and the rest of the world on 15 August 2011 except Australia and New Zealand where it was released on 19 August 2011 on Chase & Status's MTA Records. The album has sold 120,000 copies in the United States as of July 2015. Critical response ''Welcome Reality'' has received generally positive reviews.
