Inniscarra GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Inniscarra, County Cork, Ireland. Gaelic Athletic Association
The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA; ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael ; CLG) is an Irish international amateur sporting and cultural organisation, focused primarily on promoting indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball and rounders. Tomás Ryan
Thomas F. Ryan (born 1944), better known as Tomás Ryan, is an Irish retired hurler and politician. At club level he played with Inniscarra and divisional side Muskerry and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. Ryan also spent 30 years as an elected representative with Cork County Council. Club career Ryan began a lifelong association with the Inniscarra as a schoolboy in 1955. After progressing through the juvenile and underage ranks he eventually joined the adult ranks as a member of the club's junior team. Ryan enjoyed his first success in 1965 when Inniscarra secured the Mid Cork JAHC title before claiming a second divisional title in 1968. His performances at club level resulted in his inclusion on the Muskerry divisional team. He was frequently the team's top scorer in the Cork SHC, including 1970 when Muskerry were beaten by University College Cork in the final. Seán O'Donoghue
Seán O'Donoghue (born 25 January 1996) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Inniscarra, divisional side Muskerry and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career College O'Donoghue first came to prominence as a dual player with Coláiste Choilm in Ballincollig. Having played both codes at every grade, he was a centre-forward on the college's senior Gaelic football team. On 12 April 2014, he scored two points as Coláiste Choilm defeated Scoil Aodháin by 1-11 to 1-10 to take the All-Ireland title in the second tier Drummond Cup. Pat McDonnell
Pat McDonnell (born 18 March 1950) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a full-back for the Cork senior team. Born in Aghabullogue, County Cork, attended secondary school at Presentation Brothers College, Cork. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 and intermediate sides. He made his senior debut during the 1969–70. McDonnell immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won two All-Ireland medals, five Munster medals and two National Hurling League medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, McDonnell won one Railway Cup medal as a non-playing substitute. Ger Manley
Ger Manley (born 13 January 1968) is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Inniscarra, Midleton and Muskerry and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career Manley first played Gaelic football and hurling with the Inniscarra club. He won a Mid Cork JAFC title with the club in 1989, while he also lined out with the Muskerry divisional team as a dual player. Manley first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Cork minor team that won the 1985 All-Ireland MHC title. He progressed onto the under-21 team and was at centre-forward on the team that beat Kilkenny in the 1988 All-Ireland under-21 final. 2014 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2014 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 31st staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players in the intermediate grade since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship began on 25 May 2014 and ended on 9 August 2014. Tipperary were the defending champions, however, they were defeated in the provincial decider. Cork Under-21 Football Championship
The Cork Under-21 Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition in County Cork, Ireland for players under the age of 21. Clubs affiliated to Cork board compete to win this championship. All eight of the divisions in Cork organize their own championship. The divisional winners compete against each other to decide the county title.
