Inger And Lasse Sandberg
Inger and Lasse Sandberg were Swedish authors of children's books. The stories were written by Inger and illustrated by her husband Lasse. They have created many characters, including '' The Little Ghost Godfrey'' (Sw: ''Lilla Spöket Laban'') and '' Little Anna and the Tall Uncle''. Inger received the Nils Holgersson Plaque. They were joint recipients of Expressens Heffaklump in 1969. Lasse Sandberg was born in Stockholm on 17 February 1924 and died in Karlstad on 11 November 2008, at the age of 84. Children's literature or juvenile literature includes stories, books, magazines, and poems that are created for children. The Little Ghost Godfrey
Little Ghost Laban ( sv, Lilla spöket Laban aban the Little Spook or "the ghost who wouldn't haunt", is a Swedish children's book character created by Inger and Lasse Sandberg from Karlstad Municipality. The books revolve around the boy ghost Laban and his family, the Father ghost, the Mother ghost and Laban's sister Labolina.Nikolajeva, M, and C Scott (2001). ''How Picturebooks Work''. Background Laban is a friendly character who does not want to haunt and scare people, and who lives in the basement of the castle "Gomorronsol" where he is friends with the youngest prince. Expressens Heffaklump (Heffaklumpen) is a Swedish annual award for children's and youth culture, especially children's and youth literature, that is awarded by the newspaper Expressen. The award was established in 1966 and the original award statuette was created by the artist Karl Göte Bejemark, but in the 2010s the artist Stina Opitz was given the assignment. The name "Heffaklump" is taken from the Swedish name of the Heffalump character in A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories. Karlstad (, ) is the 20th-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Karlstad Municipality, the capital of Värmland County, and the largest city in the province Värmland in Sweden.
