''Indru Nee Nalai Naan'' () is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Major Sundarrajan. It stars Sivakumar, Jaishankar, Lakshmi and Sulakshana, and is based on the novel ''Thookku Mara Nizhalil'' by C.A. Balan. The film was released on 12 August 1983. Plot Marudhachalam marries Papathi, who prefers his brother Pazhaniappan. Papathi and Valli are childhood friends like sisters. Then Pazhaniappan marries Valli and has a child. Suddenly Marudhachalam dies before she gets to be with him intimately. She becomes a widow and raises Pazhaniappan's child. Now Papathi feels differently about Pazhaniappan and when Valli is gone, to have the second child, she asks Pazhaniappan to marry her. Major Sundarrajan
Srinivasan Sundarrajan (17 March 1925 – 28 February 2003), popularly known as Major Sundarrajan, was an Indian actor and director who performed predominantly in Tamil language films and plays. He was well known for his sophisticated and urbane way of delivering dialogues, often mixing English and Tamil sentences. Early life Sundarrajan was born on 17 March 1925 in a middle-class Brahmin family in Periyakulam, Madurai. His father Srinivasa Iyengar was a stage actor. Sundarrajan's first stint with acting came when he was in the sixth grade; at this point he was cast in a Hindi play of his school. He went on to act in numerous school and college plays. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja.
