Imelda Dimaporo
Imelda dela Cruz Quibranza-Dimaporo is a Filipina politician from the first district of Tubod, Lanao del Norte, Philippines. She currently serves as a Governor of Lanao del Norte following former representative Arsenio A. Quibranza. Dimaporo was first elected as a Governor in 1998 and was re-elected in 2016 and 2019. Personal life Dimaporo was born as Imelda Quibranza on January 15, 1959 in Tubod, Lanao del Norte to Arsenio Quibranza and Teofila dela Cruz. She married Abdullah Dimaporo, and have five children together. Tubod, officially the Municipality of Tubod, ( ceb, Lungsod sa Tubod; Maranao: ''Inged a Tubod''; tl, Bayan ng Tubod), is a 2nd class municipality and capital of the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 50,073 people. The Panguil Bay Bridge, once completed, will be Mindanao's (and by far, the Philippines') longest bridge, and will connect Tubod to Tangub City in Misamis Occidental. The project, that will cost around US$125,519,000.00, will be obtained through Official Development Assistance of the Korean Export-Import Bank of Korea-Economic Development Cooperation Fund.
