Iide is a village in Saaremaa Municipality, Saare County, Estonia, located on the Sõrve peninsula on the island of Saaremaa. Prior to the 2017 administrative reforms of Estonian municipalities, it was the administrative centre of Torgu Parish Torgu Parish was a rural municipality at the tip of the Sõrve Peninsula on the island of Saaremaa in western Estonia. Counties ( et, maakond, plural ') are the first-level administrative subdivisions of Estonia. Estonian territory is composed of 15 counties, including 13 on the mainland and 2 on islands. The government (') of each county is led by a ' (governor) who represents the national government (') at the regional level. Saare County ( et, Saare maakond or ''Saaremaa''; la, Oesel; german: Ösel; sv, Ösel) is one of 15 counties of Estonia.
