Ignaz Agricola
Ignaz Agricola (July 31, 1661 – January 23, 1729) was a German Jesuit. Agricola was born in Zusamaltheim in the Bishopric of Augsburg. He entered the Jesuit order on September 28, 1677, and studied in Jesuit schools, philosophy for three years and theology for four years. He then taught in Jesuit schools for a number of years: grammar for two years, poetry for two years, rhetoric for seven years, and logic for two years. Prince-Bishopric Of Augsburg
The Prince-Bishopric of Augsburg (german: Fürstbistum Augsburg; Hochstift Augsburg) was one of the prince-bishoprics of the Holy Roman Empire, and belonged to the Swabian Circle. It should not be confused with the larger diocese of Augsburg, over which the prince-bishop exercised only spiritual authority. Sodality
In Christian theology, a sodality, also known as a syndiakonia, is a form of the "Universal Church" expressed in specialized, task-oriented form as opposed to the Christian church in its local, diocesan form (which is termed ''modality''). In English, the term ''sodality'' is most commonly used by groups in the Anglican Communion, Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, Lutheran Church and Reformed Church, where they are also referred to as confraternities.
