Ida Elise Broch
Ida Elise Broch (born 25 June 1987) is a Norwegian actress. She is the half-sister of Nicolai Cleve Broch and Christian Cleve Broch. Broch played Catherine in the film ''The Man Who Loved Yngve'' and had a starring role in the film ''Switch''. She had a featured role in season 3 of the Netflix series ''Lilyhammer'' and starred in the Norwegian TV series '' The Third Eye'', where she played police detective Mari Friis. She has also starred in two Netflix festive-themed series, '' Home for Christmas'' and ''A Storm for Christmas'', as the lead role and as part of an ensemble cast respectively. Education Broch has performed in plays since elementary school and studied drama at Hartvig Nissen School and Romerike Folk High School. She left school in the spring of 2007 in order to begin filming ''The Man Who Loved Yngve'' and joined the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in the autumn of 2008. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Plot A young girl, Johanna (Johanna Gustavsson), is jogging alone in the woods when she is suddenly attacked and seemingly murdered by a mask-wearing maniac with a power drill. Later that same day, her father Morten (Morten Rudå) receives a phone call from the police pronouncing her dead just as he sees her walk in the front door of their house. Gullruten ("Golden Screen") is an annual award for the Norwegian TV industry, founded in 1998 by ''Norske Film- og TV-produsenters forening''. The awarding committee has representatives from the major national TV companies, NRK, TV 2, TV3 and TVNorge. In 1998, the show was hosted by Nadia Hasnaoui, and from 1999 to 2012, by Dorthe Skappel. Pax (2011 Film)
''Pax'' is a 2011 Norwegian-Swedish film directed by Annette Sjursen. It was released on March 18, 2011. The film stars many well known Norwegian actors, but was not well received by critics and was considered a flop. Plot An engine of a Boeing 737 explodes midway during a flight from Stockholm, Sweden, to Oslo, Norway. Many on board thought the end was near, but for some, it was just a beginning. During the flight, we follow seven people and one heart, on its way from one person to the other. All seven people have something that they are fleeing from. But when the heavy airplane body falls to the ground, they imagine their lives in a secondary perspective. Reception The film had a disastrous opening weekend with many critics asking what went wrong? In a review for Verdens Gang, Jon Selås said "there is no seriousness or ambition in 'Pax'." Nicolai Cleve Broch
Nicolai Cleve Broch (born 14 November 1975) is a Norwegian theatre and film actor. He rose to national fame playing one of the leading roles in the 2002 drama series ''Lekestue'', which aired on NRK in 2002. He is also known for playing the protagonist in ''Buddy'', a romantic comedy from 2003. Other major film credits include '' Uno'', '' Uro'' and ''Den siste revejakta''. More recently, Cleve Broch was nominated for an Amanda Award for his portrayal of World War II resistance fighter Gregers Gram in ''Max Manus''. Often appearing alongside Aksel Hennie, the two have been referred to as "Norway's Ben Affleck and Matt Damon".
