Iba Airport
Iba Airport (Filipino: ''Paliparan ng Iba'', Ilocano: ''Pagtayaban ti Iba'') is an airport serving the general area of Iba, located in the province of Zambales in the Philippines. It is one of the five airports in Zambales. It is classified as a feeder airport by the Air Transportation Office, a body of the Department of Transportation that is responsible for the operations of not only this airport but also of all other airports in the Philippines except the major international airports. Iba Airport serves as a training area for the Philippine Air Force and today, most of the traffic that goes in Iba Airport are general aviation. Iba, Zambales
Iba, officially the Municipality of Iba ( xsb, Babali nin Iba; ilo, Ili ti Iba; tl, Bayan ng Iba), is a 1st class municipality and capital of the province of Zambales, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 55,581 people. As the capital of the province, it is second largest provincial capital in terms of land area in Central Luzon Region after Tarlac City. Ilocano Language
Ilocano (also Ilokano; ; Ilocano: ) is an Austronesian language spoken in the Philippines, primarily by Ilocano people and as a lingua franca by the Igorot people and also by the native settlers of Cagayan Valley. It is the third most-spoken native language in the country. As an Austronesian language, it is related to Malay (Indonesian and Malaysian), Tetum, Chamorro, Fijian, Māori, Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Paiwan, and Malagasy. Classification Regulation over airports and aviation in the Philippines lies with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). The CAAP's classification system, introduced in 2008, rationalizes the previous Air Transportation Office (ATO) system of airport classification, pursuant to the Philippine Transport Strategic Study and the 1992 Civil Aviation Master Plan.
