Iain Connell (born 10 August 1976) is a Scottish comedian and actor known for his work alongside fellow comedian Robert Florence. His acting credits include ''Legit'', ''Rab C. Nesbitt'' and most notably ''Burnistoun''. He has written for many successful Scottish comedies such as ''Legit'', ''Empty'' and, along with Robert Florence, ''Burnistoun'. He has done other things too such as make a couple songs realesed on Spotify under the name Iain Connell and regularly posts on his social media. Legit (2006 TV Series)
''Legit'' is a Scottish sitcom produced by The Comedy Unit, written by Robert Florence (of videoGaiden) and Iain Connell and broadcast on BBC One Scotland. The pilot episode aired on 16 September 2006 to much critical acclaim and positive reviews. The first series started on 7 September 2007 with the pilot episode being aired first and then the remaining episodes. The show was shown every Friday night at 9:30pm. In May 2008, the BBC made the decision not to renew the show for a second series. Instead '' Dear Green Place'' was renewed. Situation and plot ''Legit'' is set in and around a fictitious street market, where main characters Sammy Fox and Danny work selling illegal DVDs and pirated computer software. ''Empty'' is a six-episode BBC Two sitcom first broadcast on 28 February 2008. It stars Gregor Fisher and Billy Boyd as Jacky Allen and Tony MacBryan respectively, two men who work for a property maintenance company 'Greater Glasgow Building Services'. Situation and plot Each episode mostly revolves around the dialogue of the two main characters as they discuss their lives (and unseen wives) and the things they find in the houses they clear. Jacky and Tony are also given to re-enacting silent comedy and music hall routines, and always take a polaroid photo of themselves which they date and hide in a crevice somewhere. The Scots ( sco, Scots Fowk; gd, Albannaich) are an ethnic group and nation native to Scotland. Robert Florence
Robert Luke McBrian Florence (born 29 July 1977) is a Scottish presenter, comedian and writer who starred in the BBC comedy sketch show ''Burnistoun''. Early life Robert Florence was born on 29 July 1977 and was raised in a working-class family in Balornock, Glasgow. His father and brothers are roofers. He and future writing collaborator Iain Connell met as a pair of fifteen-year-olds at a Springburn amateur youth theatre project, Toonspeak. His sole stage appearance was at a stand-up comedy night in Petershill, Springburn, for which he dressed up as David Bowie. Florence spent a year on a film and television studies course at Cardonald College. Rab âːb( dlm, Arba, la, Arba, it, Arbe, german: Arbey) is an island in the northern Dalmatia region in Croatia, located just off the northern Croatian coast in the Adriatic Sea. ''Chewin' the Fat'' is a Scottish comedy sketch show, starring Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill and Karen Dunbar. Comedians Paul Riley and Mark Cox also appeared regularly on the show among other actors such as Gregor Fisher and Tom Urie. ''Chewin' the Fat'' first started as a radio series on BBC Radio Scotland.
