I Am A Nightmare
"I Am a Nightmare" is a single by American rock band Brand New, released on 17 May 2016. The song was released as a digital download, with a 12-inch single made available to preorder online. The single has been described by the band as being from their "upcoming release", with Lacey previously commenting in 2015 that he was unsure what format the new material would be delivered in. ''Pitchfork Media'' awarded it ''Best New Track'', praising Lacey for writing his most instantaneous hook in over a decade, whilst proclaiming that when the band announce their fifth album it would "break the internet". Background Frontman Jesse Lacey had previously commented to various media outlets that recording their previous record ''Daisy'', the band felt as though they had reached "the end of the road" musically, and that their next record would likely involve backtracking and looking for another route they could have possibly taken. Before releasing new material the band also looked to develo ...

Herbig Ae/Be Star
A Herbig Ae/Be star (HAeBe) is a pre-main-sequence star – a young () star of spectral types A or B. These stars are still embedded in gas-dust envelopes and are sometimes accompanied by circumstellar disks. Hydrogen and calcium emission lines are observed in their spectra. They are 2-8 Solar mass () objects, still existing in the star formation (gravitational contraction) stage and approaching the main sequence (i.e. they are not burning hydrogen in their center). Description In the Hertzsprung–Russell diagram, Herbig Ae/Be stars are located to the right of the main sequence. They are named after the American astronomer George Herbig, who first distinguished them from other stars in 1960. The original Herbig criteria were: * Spectral type earlier than F0 (in order to exclude T Tauri stars), * Balmer emission lines in the stellar spectrum (in order to be similar to T Tauri stars), * Projected location within the boundaries of a dark interstellar cloud (in order to select re ...

Daisy (Brand New Album)
''Daisy'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Brand New, released September 22, 2009 on Interscope. ''Daisy'' was co-produced by both the band and their longtime producer Mike Sapone. Brand New recorded the album in Sapone's studio in Bethpage, New York between 2008 and 2009. The band looked to channel their live performances, as well as the noise of bands such as Fugazi, Polvo, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus Lizard, in order to produce the raw and often chaotic sound of the album. Guitarist Vincent Accardi had a larger role in writing the album's lyrics, sharing the responsibility with frontman Jesse Lacey. The album leaked three weeks prior to its release, and the song "At the Bottom" was the only single released. ''Daisy'' received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised the band's continued progression, while fans were somewhat more divided, with drummer Brian Lane believing that they either seem to love it or hate it. It debuted at nu ...

Hubble Space Telescope
The Hubble Space Telescope (often referred to as HST or Hubble) is a space telescope that was launched into low Earth orbit in 1990 and remains in operation. It was not the first space telescope, but it is one of the largest and most versatile, renowned both as a vital research tool and as a public relations boon for astronomy. The Hubble telescope is named after astronomer Edwin Hubble and is one of NASA's Great Observatories. The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) selects Hubble's targets and processes the resulting data, while the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) controls the spacecraft. Hubble features a mirror, and its five main instruments observe in the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Hubble's orbit outside the distortion of Earth's atmosphere allows it to capture extremely high-resolution images with substantially lower background light than ground-based telescopes. It has recorded some of the most detaile ...

Voyager 2
''Voyager 2'' is a space probe launched by NASA on August 20, 1977, to study the outer planets and interstellar space beyond the Sun's heliosphere. As a part of the Voyager program, it was launched 16 days before its twin, ''Voyager 1'', on a trajectory that took longer to reach gas giants Jupiter and Saturn but enabled further encounters with ice giants Uranus and Neptune. ''Voyager 2'' remains the only spacecraft to have visited either of the ice giant planets. ''Voyager 2'' was the fourth of five spacecraft to achieve Solar escape velocity, which allowed it to leave the Solar System. ''Voyager 2'' successfully fulfilled its primary mission of visiting the Jovian system in 1979, the Saturnian system in 1981, Uranian system in 1986, and the Neptunian system in 1989. The spacecraft is now in its extended mission of studying interstellar space. It has been operating for as of ; , it has reached a distance of from Earth. The probe entered interstellar space on November 5, 2 ...
