Izhar Qazi
Izhar Qazi (16 September 1955 – 23 December 2007) was a Pakistani film and television actor and singer. He acted in more than 100 movies as well as numerous TV plays. In the latter category, his last major release was Syed Noor’s ''Zakham'' (1993), playing a vigilante. His most famous movies were ''Love In Nepal'', ''Aalmi Jasoos'', ''Khazana'', and ''Sar Kata Insaan''. He was a two-time recipient of the prestigious Nigar award. Most of his films were in Urdu, but he also appeared in several double version Urdu- Punjabi films and one Pashto film, ''Ghunghru do Kalashankoff.'' He was also a singer; he recorded a studio album, ''Zara Aake Dekho To,'' that was re-released by EMI Pakistan in 2014. Career Beginnings Qazi was born in Khadda Market, Karachi. Shafi Muhammad Shah (or Shafi Mohammad) ( ur, شفیع محمد شاہ) PP (7 September 1949–17 November 2007) was a Pakistani film and television actor. Popularly known as ''Shah-jee'', he was born in Kandiaro, Naushahro Feroze District, Sindh. Career Shafi began his career as a radio presenter from the Hyderabad radio station. He obtained a postgraduate degree from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He later moved to Karachi and began his career as an actor. The Nigar Awards ( ur, , translit=Inʿām Negār, lit=Picture Awards) were presented in an annual award show to recognize outstanding achievement in Pakistani cinema. The honors are awarded by Nigar Magazine founded in 1948. The Nigar Awards are Pakistan's version of the Academy Awards. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists. The first Nigar Awards ceremony was held in 1957, to honor the accomplishments of Pakistani cinema for the year 1956. Sultan Rahi
Sultan Rahi ( ur, ﺳﻠﻄﺎﻥ ﺭﺍﮨﯽ ; June 24, 1938 – January 9, 1996) was a Pakistani actor, producer and screenwriter. He established himself as one of the leading and most successful actors of Pakistani and Punjabi cinema, and received a reputation as Pakistan's "Clint Eastwood". During a career spanning 40 years, he acted in some 703 Punjabi films and 100 Urdu films, winning around 160 awards. Jan Muhammad (Urdu:;1943–2002) was a Pakistani film director. He created more than 30 feature films. Early life Jan was born and brought up in Karachi. Salma Agha ( ur, ; born 25 October 1956) is a British singer and actress who worked in Pakistani and Indian films in the 1980s and the early 1990s. She was born in Karachi and raised in London, where she received several film offers from Indian directors.
