Izbično is a settlement in the north-west of the Široki Brijeg, Široki Brijeg Municipality, below the Varda Hill. The ''Župa'' (parish) of St. Joseph the Worker of Izbično includes Donja Britvica, Gornja Britvica and Solde hamlet, which belongs to the Donji Crnač settlement. Every year on August 16, the settlement celebrates ''#Izbičijada, Izbičijada'', a festival which gathers inhabitants of Izbično, as well as the people who emigrated from the village, and other guests. Five main Hamlet (place), hamlets of Izbično are: Crnjci, Hrkaći, Pavkovići, Tribošić, and Solde (Donji Crnač). History History of Izbično is about 200 years old. The oldest document is from 1896. Baptism
Baptism (from grc-x-koine, βάπτισμα, váptisma) is a form of ritual purification—a characteristic of many religions throughout time and geography. Vinko Puljić
Vinko Puljić (; born 8 September 1945) is a Bosnian prelate of the Catholic Church who has been a cardinal since 1994. He was the archbishop of Vrhbosna from 1991 to 2022. Early life and education The twelfth of thirteen children, Vinko Puljić was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina (then part of Yugoslavia), to Ivan and Kaja Puljić. His mother died when he was three-years-old, and his father then remarried. In addition to his family, young Vinko's spiritual formation was deeply influenced by the Trappist Mariastern Abbey, located not far from his native village. One of the monks helped Vinko's father to send his son to the minor seminary of Zagreb. Father Ante Artner sold his motorbike and gave the proceeds to Vinko's father, who did not have enough money to pay his board there. Mate Bulić (; born 18 February 1957) is a Herzegovinians, Herzegovinian pop music, pop and folk music, folk singer, whose songs are influenced by his native Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1990s, he has been living and performing from Frankfurt, Germany, where he became known as the "King of the Diaspora". Biography Bulić finished his schooling in Čitluk, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Čitluk and at Mostar, graduating in electrical engineering. However, he decided not to pursue a teaching job in Mostar and moved to Frankfurt where he married and started a family. It was not until later that he began to develop his music career. A beer garden (German: ''Biergarten'') is an outdoor area in which beer and food are served, typically at shared tables shaded by trees. Beer gardens originated in Bavaria, of which Munich is the capital city, in the 19th century, and remain common in Southern Germany. Croats
The Croats (; hr, Hrvati ) are a South Slavic ethnic group who share a common Croatian ancestry, culture, history and language. They are also a recognized minority in a number of neighboring countries, namely Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
